At Persona, we love our pets. We think they're smart, funny, and cute, and we're always looking for opportunities to show them off. For National Pet Day, we thought we'd take a break from our monthly Q&As with various Personerds and instead introduce you to some of the pets behind Persona — err... Pawsona.
Today, meet Rolly and Loki, two domestic cats who love cuddles, staring at the fridge, and bothering their owner during work. Learn more about what they'd do with a paycheck, how they'd describe their owner, and more in this Q&A:
Tell us a little about yourself.
We're Rolly and Loki! We're brothers and San Francisco born and raised! We used to be quite the mischievous duo, but we've calmed down a lot since moving in with Jake and Natalie (Persona's talent lead) when we turned 5. We love cuddles and playing with mom's shoelaces and searching for sunlight around the apartment!
What is your favorite snack?
Anything our owner Natalie is eating is our favorite.
What is your ideal day?
Rolly: Waking Natalie and Jake up at 5:30 with the zoomies. Generally going about on my own during the day following the sun, then seeking cuddles and lap-time at night when Natalie and Jake watch Netflix.
Loki: I'm talking up a storm with Natalie or Jake (whoever is working from home that day). I also like to sit and stare eagerly at the fridge for about an hour a day. One time, I caught a mouse from under the fridge, and I'm still hoping to find another one in there!! Any day now....
If you were to work at Persona, what would you do?
Rolly: I'd be in talent so I could make all potential future Personerds swoon with my charm!
Loki: I can't work at Persona because that means I wouldn't be able to stare at the fridge all day and I can't miss another mouse!!!
How would you describe your owner?
Rolly: My owner stares at a screen a lot and acts like she is typing, so I sit on her arm so she can only work one-handed!
Loki: She's always on the phone and needs to take more breaks! So I make sure to let her know I'm there by jumping on her desk, meowing, or fighting my brother during her calls.
What would you do with your first paycheck?
We would throw a huge Pawsona party!!
